I met Gahl Sasson through Sam Robson (XXXL) and Nina, the
owners of the Beat Non Stop record shop on Melrose in LA.
At the time I was running a label called Mictlan which means
underworld in Nahuatl (Aztec's language). So, when I was
asked to remix this song, I was very involved mentally with it.
Hours into working on the remix in my apartment in Echo Park
the sounds and voices I was working with definitely got to me
and I felt like spirits were in the room with me. At this time I was
also into spells, mysticism and other esoteric topics - this remix
is probably one of my best in my opinion for the weight it carries
still to this day. It's a trip through the world of dark matter and
invisible places. I hope you can take the time to just sit back in a dark
room and let it take you wherever it can. CLOSE YOUR EYES
